Here is more information about Peter Müller and Sgrafo:
Peter and Klaus Müller were artists and owners of Sgrafo Modern in Western Germany. The Müller brothers created modern forms and techniques, that no other porcelain makers realized in the 50s and 60s. In the genius process of creating these amazing forms and techniques, they developed a new technique of making porcelain.
The Müllers serrated into the material with three different layers and colors of porcelain. The layers were placed on top of one another, allowing the different colors to become visible. This technique was patented and, of course, named "Sgrafo".
Unfortunately, Sgrafo is no longer in business today, which makes Peter and Klaus Müller's designs very scarce and collectible!
